and then to Point Peron as Camp Director. Head of Department at
Safety Bay and Deputy at Safety Bay and Hedland, Associate Principal
at
Warnbro, and Principal at Swan View in 2003.
Areas of Interest include: Promoting Government Schools, WASSEA as a central player in educational
decision making, increasing the status
of school executives, Leadership Development and Policy and Planning. |

Roslyn Ford
Senior Vice President
Deputy Principal, Wanneroo Senior High School
Commenced in 1967 at Cyril Jackson and then to Eastern Goldfields,
John Forrest, Sydney, London, Scarborough and Karratha SHS as a SOSE
and Geography teacher. Became Head of Department at Katanning SHS
and moved to Deputy Principal at Carnarvon SHS in 1982 and hence
to Wanneroo SHS. Previously President of WADSPA and Senior Vice President
of WASSEA since the amalgamation.
Areas of Special Interest include: Curriculum,
Staffing, Leadership Centre Board, Collegial Support and Professional
Association, IT
and HRMIS issues.

Robyn White
Secretary
Principal Perth Modern School.
Started in WA in 1979 after teaching in Victoria and NSW and worked
as a Biochemist in Sydney. Head of Department at Willeton SHS, Deputy
at Safety Bay and Hamilton SHS and Principal at Clarkson CHS and
Perth Modern School.
Special interests include Curriculum, policies
relating to school structures, and support processes to optimise
student achievement.

Armando Giglia
Principal Mirrabooka Senior High School
Commenced at Hamilton SHS in 1979 before taking up postings in
Meekatharra, Harvey and Carnarvon before a second metro posting
at Kelmscott SHS.
Seconded to the Geraldton District Office in 1990 before promotion
to Program Co-ordinator at Mandurah SHS. Promoted to Deputy Principal
of Geraldton SHS (later Geraldton Secondary College) in 1995. In
2001moved to Mirrabooka SHS as Deputy Principal and Acting Principal.
Substantive Principal of Mirrabooka SHS since 2002
Special Interests
include promoting Public Education, Staffing Issues and promoting
Staff Development and Wellbeing. |

Lyn Caudle
Principal, Harvey Senior High School
Commenced at Beverley District High School in 1969 teaching English
and French. From there to Belmont SHS, City Beach SHS, Newman SHS,
and to Safety Bay as Head of Department in English. Deputy positions
followed at Rockingham and Mandurah. Elected to WASSEA Executive
in 2003.
Areas of Special Interest: Curriculum, School Evaluation
and Leadership. |

Principal Greenwood Senior High School
Started teaching at Morley SHS in 1980 and then moved to Katanning
in 1982. After a short stint in PE Branch in 1985-86 took up a
position as HOD of PE at Albany SHS before going to Tom Price HS
in 1991 as
Deputy and on to Narrogin in 1993. After a spell as A/Principal
at Central Midlands in 1999-2000 was appointed to Greenwood in
2001.

Suzanne Saunders
Principal Eaton Community College
Commenced in WA in 1972 at John Forrest SHS. Transferred to Lockridge
SHS in 1976. Head of Department in English at Geraldton SHS and Hedland
SHS. Deputy at Hedland and Karratha SHS. Principal at Harvey Agricultural
SHS in 1995 and Bunbury SHS in 1998. Commenced at Eaton in 2002 as
Foundation Principal.
Member of WASSEA Management Committee since 1998.
Areas of interest
include: Curriculum, Development of Staff, Middle Schooling and
promoting Rural Education and Government Schools.

Jeff Stone
Deputy Principal Flexible Learning in Schools SIDE
Commencing in 1984 at Gosnells SHS, then 2 years at Cyril Jackson.
Rural postings followed at Carnamah and John Willcock and secondment
as SDO over 1995/1996 in the Midwest and Swan.
Appointment as one of four inaugural Level 3s at Clarkson CHS for
5 years then foundation Associate Principal at Kinross College from
2001. Currently Principal Consultant in Flexible Learning in Schools
following time as a Project Manager in the Leadership Centre.
Areas
of interest include: Leadership Development, School Design and
Organisational Development.

Patricia Young
Deputy Principal Rossmoyne Senior High School
Commencing in 1974 spent 5 years at Eastern Goldfields SHS teaching
French and German. Deputy Principal at Katanning SHS, Pinjarra SHS
and Manjimup SHS. After 30 years in country schools did a reverse
sea-change and has been Deputy at Rossmoyne SHS for the past 3 years.
Areas
of interest include: LOTE, Curriculum (especially COS) Assessment
and Reporting 8-12.

Alison Woodman
Immediate past President
Retired.
Commenced at Geraldton SHS in 1964 and resigned to travel between
1967-9. Recommenced at Hampton SHS and moved to Head of Science at
Mirrabooka and Belmont SHS. Moved to Deputy at John Willcock SHS,
spent time in Central Office as a team leader in Personal and Vocational
Education, and moved to Deputy at South Fremantle before becoming
Principal at Merredin and Melville. Moved again to Merredin SHS in
1994 and left in 2005 to take up WASSEA Presidency for 2006 and 2007.
Areas
of Interest include: Leadership Development, Staff Selection, and
correct use of English.
