WASSEA and KAYA Consulting are proud to announce Leading from Strengths (Aspirants Course).
Description

This two-day leadership development program is designed for participants to learn more about themselves and their leadership style through the lens of a Strengths-based approach. The focus of this program is on those who are in middle level leadership roles or those aspiring for senior school leadership roles within the school.

Day 1 provides participants with an opportunity to further develop an understanding of themselves as a leader by learning about their strengths and those of others. Participants will explore the mindset of a strengths-based leader, learn about the impact of strengths on their working relationships and better understand their weaknesses and the impact they have on self and others.
Day 2 provides a focus on a Strengths-based approach to leading others and improving team effectiveness. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the interplay between strengths and will learn about how people use their strengths to achieve goals by working to outcomes.

In preparation, participants will complete the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment and be provided their report as part of Day 1 of the workshop. This self-awareness assessment will form the basis of each session within the workshops. A deeper understanding of self as leader and of the dynamics involved in working relationships is fundamental to the success of any middle-level leader.
