Belinda has been working in the education community for more than 25 years across a variety of schools. She is passionate about equity issues and as such has focused her work in schools with below average ICSEA’s. She works in her school to promote diversity and inclusivity and is always an advocate for those who need support. Belinda places a great emphasis on health and wellbeing for her school communities and has assisted several secondary schools implement Positive Behaviour support.
Belinda is an eternally solution focused and positive person. She is known for her specialist skills in Timetabling which she often uses to support her colleagues across the Department of Education Western Australia.
Belinda is a mentor to many aspiring Department of Education Leaders and pre-service teachers through Edith Cowan University. She joined the WASSEA committee to work collaboratively with WASSEA members, to help support her fellow leaders where possible and to champion issues of importance to education.
