Soft skills leadership development

We know that many principals and school leaders find the people side of leadership the most challenging – holding difficult conversations, giving feedback, working with difficult members of staff and dealing with parents. So, through ASPA, we have partnered with not-for-profit education consultancy BTS Spark, who are offering soft skills leadership development programs specially designed for school leaders.

Established Principals

This program gives you the chance to refresh and develop your leadership through working with a professional leadership coach.

Deputy/Assistant Principals

This coaching journey supports Deputy Principals and Assistant Principals to be at their most effective, influence others and hold their authority.

New Principals

This program supports newly appointed Principals to make a successful transition into their new school, make sense of their new context and establish themselves with colleagues.

Heads of Department

This program is designed to help heads of department to engage, motivate and involve their teams. It gets to the heart of how you can have most impact in your school by getting the most from your team.

BTS Spark is a not-for-profit practice dedicated to developing school leaders. Formerly known as Coach in a Box, their team of leadership coaches have been supporting school leaders in Western Australia for over 10 years.
