WASSEA Aspirant Event – “Speed Dating”

This upcoming WASSEA Aspirant Event is aimed at those with a well-written CV or application that needs a little boost.

The “speed dating” process:

  1. Participants arrive with their current CV or application (aimed at school leadership positions – Levels 4-6).
  2. Experienced mentors will be positioned around the room and participants will periodically move from mentor to mentor.
  3. The job of the mentors is to provide a first impression of the application and give some pointers for improvement.
  4. Just to be clear – there is no actual romance or dating involved!

As everyone has a slightly different approach to reading and ranking CVs the opportunity to hear from a cross-section of leaders tends to be very useful.
